I was drawn to Lorn's Lure by the initial playtests and neat low poly design. The climbing and movement feels great and is super rewarding. Pulling off awesome sequences or efficient/quick path finding is my favorite moments from the entire game. That followed by the allure of going further and learning little by little about this world of immense scale. I did have difficulty in the later levels due to long sequences without checkpoints, though finally beating those sections felt phenomenal. 9/10 I want more levels/maps to zoom around on.

Took me a couple of tries to get into this game due to the unique gameplay and storytelling style. I stuck with it, took my time to learn the systems put in front of me, and sometime between Episode 4 and 5 I was hooked and had to see how it all ended. A gorgeous game that had me frequently slowing down to appreciate the vistas and views. Most ways you engage in this game has a purpose which incentives preparing and planning while also rewarding creative on-the-fly thinking. At it's core the gameplay is delivering packages to isolated people in a post-apocalyptic America. at the same time it's about rebuilding and the connections we make along the way. 10/10 I can't wait for the sequel!

Immersed into a beautiful world with a compelling story that kept me engaged to the very end (DLC included). I did experience some janky moments, movement acting weird and a couple crashes, but they didn't ruin my overall experience.

Laugh at the demise of your friends and scream at the scares. Record as much as you can and upload to go viral! Watch the shenanigans back home with your friends (if the footage makes it out). Very funny, very spooky.

A very engaging game play loop that kept me coming back after beating the main story (more on that later). Gearing up, heading out, racing your way around the zone, and coming back to the garage to asses damage, gear up to head back out, and barely making back by the rims of your tires is a thrill and makes most decisions at the garage and out in the zone matter. Every interactions feels very physical and *mostly* immersive. The game did not hold my hand for a lot of things, rather allowing me to figure out what and why things are. Replacing panels and doors, fixing flat tires and cracked components, and adapting on the fly. With audio/text logs and anomalies catalog, resources to gather, and the environment trying to inconvenience and stop you at every turn.

The story started off strong, not a lot of details until you start to progress deeper into the zone, after you familiarize yourself with the mechanics. Little bits of lore here and there, within anomaly logs, audio files found in the zone, and characters that you never see but will hear, helping you try and find a way out of the zone. Unfortunately, the story falls flat towards the end and seems to throw out everything that made the journey fun for an extended walking info dump.

All this without touching the art style or audio design... A very fun and engaging game that kept me playing longer than I expected and will continue to have me venture back into the zone to find every little secret it has to hold. 9/10 I highly recommend!
