Honestly, not bad.

After 4 years of having the servers shut down these ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ just remembered to add a notice that the online features don't work anymore.

A decade in early access, 7 Days to Die all over again.

The game is painfully average in all it's aspects, story, gameplay, mission design, the open world et cetera.
What happened was Techland saw Ubisoft's ♥♥♥♥♥♥ formula and decided to replicate it, however they did so at the worst possible time considering the current Ubi Fatigue.

As for the gameplay itself, it's very uninspired, generic """power""" fantasy (in air quotes because this game's combat is so mid and you'll be struggling for the most part with it) as it could get. Parkour's done nicely, VERY nicely but it's not worth anything when the world itself, as mentioned above, is mid, lacks any sort of 'interesting' places to explore and is just 'post-apocalyptic world#6.exe'. For the combat, it's clunky, doesn't feel good at all and is braindead as it could get. Not saying the first game had amazing combat (it didn't) but at least Harran was memorable enough; I don't even remember the name of this game's main location.
To break it down better, Dying Light 2's combat essentially is another element of this game that was 'Ubied' if you would, you have a basic parry you have a dodge that's like 10 times better than parrying and literally EVERY ENEMY IS BRAINDEAD.
Zombies are more annoying to fight than the last game, your hits on them aren't as responsive, the combat's very floaty and 'trippy' if you would. Your combat skills are so boring and uninspired and generic I can't even be bothered to go into detail about them.
The story... Jesus. I don't need to go into detail about this.

Honestly the only "good" part about this game is that it gets more support than say, Payday 3 does. But ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ you had the formula to success and you managed to screw it up somehow.

Overall this game's barely a 6, just barely.

So this is as cliched and stereotypical as they get...uhhh...Hentai/dating sim game with not much else to say about it, aside from a bit of 'gameplay' not present in most other adult VNs.
The character designs are good, the music's decent, (character) progression makes no sense but it is a Hentai game so...whatever, the story, well it doesn't have much of a story, the visuals are nice and appealing.
Has some funny moments.
The VN's a 7/10 and that's nothing to scoff at obviously, everything considered.

I could write a long review about the ups and downs but I'm gonna get straight to the point,
The game's good, it could have more than a few joke endings to be honest, but the main ending works well.
It's got enough mystery (lore-wise.) to keep you involved, but nothing you can't solve, which is great.
I expected a lot from the Demo and got exactly what I wanted.
9/10 Game good.

The 1.0 Update is very underwhelming, that said the game itself is decent, but gets boring too quick,
And if you don't have friends forget about playing it altogether.

Now that April's Fools is over, let me just get straight to the point,
The game's fun, it's not scary, but it's fun.
But seriously no matter how much they update this game, it will never be fit for single player experience, and half the playerbase are brain-dead morons.
And I'm being nice there.
All in all, game good, community bad like every other game, not fit for lonely people.

Atmospheric, immersive and tense.
