The world of VTM:B is very unique, intriguing and humorous. It's also a very good RPG overall. Needless to say you'll probably have to download the unofficial patch if you want a good experience. I'd also recommend upgrading the textures via mods. I recently had to reinstall not only this game but all of Steam so I've been having some trouble with it, but when I played initially with the unofficial patch it ran well at 1920x1080 for the most part. The combat is a little wonky and something that you have to get used to. Your combat experience is often dictated by your clan, but skills matter just as much. Different clans have different play-styles. Also I'd recommend not playing Malkavian for your first playthrough because it's rather confusing trying to make sense of what your schizophrenic character is saying most of the time. They also know things that they shouldn't yet which could potentially spoil the game for you if you can make sense of their wacky and prophetic dialogue.

TLDR: This game requires some extra effort to get into, just look up a modding guide. There are some good ones on YT. Or you can just figure it out yourself if you're so inclined. Also play anyone but Malkavian on first playthrough unless you love listening to (or reading) psychobabble.

I've actually played hundreds of hours of this game despite what you'll find on my steam profile. This is just my most recent foray back into this wonderful game. I'm 21 and I've been on and off playing this game since I was 12 or 13. This game never gets old to me (hyperbole but well deserved). It's always so much fun causing chaos as a crack addicted, trench coat wearing maniac and pissing on people as you run down your list of chores. Postal 2 is a national treasure and we must give it the appreciation it deserves. I've just started a new playthrough and I don't even know what number this what is. Must be over 10. Postal 2 will always hold a special place in my heart. It's a game that was (and is) extremely controversial due to its relentless topicality for the time that it was released. The numerous pop culture references also help in dating the game just in case you weren't aware of when it came out. I also greatly appreciate the humorous dev team at RWS. Their workplace culture is top shelf as you'll no doubt see if you take the time to play and explore Postal 2. There's no other development company quite like RWS. They're a very unique company that you'll struggle to find peers for. It's a damn shame that this game was followed by a product that shall not be named and as far as I'm concerned never existed. Thankfully we've seen a return to form from RWS with the recent early-access release of Postal 4: No Regerts. Postal 4 is set to be updated to a more finished product quite soon, at which point I'll definitely be buying it and playing it ad nauseum.

TLDR: If you haven't played this game I'd have to recommend that you stop what you're doing and give it a try. Odds are you'll either love it or hate it.
