3 Years, never forgetting you for as long as i live <3

1/5: This is always the hardest time of the year for a lot of us. They say time heals all but I don't feel healed. 3 years ago today we thought you would make a recovery, your vitals were looking up and I felt so relieved that you were going to be okay. I will never look at the date specifically between the 8th and 12th, and the weeks and months after and feel any joy, only the hope that was lost and the pain I've felt ever since. Friendships have come and gone since then, but you're someone I've never left behind.

2/5: More recently, I feel so grateful I met you, and sometimes the sadness becomes bittersweet, in a weird way. You never recovered, and it broke all of us, my biggest regret is leaving that night, and people say you can't blame yourself or that it wouldn't have helped, but I think anyone that knew you would kill for even a minute more with you. It's hard not to blame yourself thinking you could've done more. I was in Sheff yesterday, and all the memories came back to me, I didn't wanna cry but I couldn't help it. 3 years since it happened yesterday and I was in a place that I hold dear to my heart because of you (Sheff of all places!)

3/5: I'll never forget the time you accidentally stole a literal vape, the guy was so distracted with me that he completely forgot to ask you to pay LOL. We laughed all the way back to the hotel. Or when we were in the hotel cackling in the elevators after having one too many, just going between the floors and just being dumb 18 year olds, honestly! Or the time you asked me to play darts, and it didn't go too well. I still go and watch that video to this day, it makes me laugh so much! I miss how you could make the most mundane situation so memorable. This is the Deniz I like to remember, the one that would have me in tears from laughing. I cried and then smiled in the car, it was bittersweet of memories long gone.
