So, After nearly 47 hours of gameplay i can finally tell that this game is not what i expected. In a bad way.

Decisions you made in previous games, which you thought were really important for the Veilguard don't matter at all. Except for a 3 of them.

Fights became something awful - the boss fights making you to move around the arena like a psycho. I miss the tactical camera where you can give orders to your companions and have time to think a little bit. This fighting system is nothing but a typical hack&slash with fancy and colorful effects.

Dialogs... They are just painful to listen to. At the very beginning of the game I thought that i speak with the children and not with an adult persons. Maybe except for Lucanis and Neve - they were ok, but still. Conversations are empty, at the beginning they have too much pathos in them, like they make them just to place in launch trailer to sound more heroic. It feels just awkward.

Locations are fine, mostly graphically, but it's more linear than a real open world. In the middle of the game it gave me the exact same feeling like it was in the second part of DA - you go through exact same places over and over and over again - to fight deamons/spirits/venatori, to make some personal quest for our companions - it's really annoying especially in smaller locations.

Idk what to say about the art style cause it's not what i expected - with these bigger heads they look like some cartoon characters. No skin texture, everything is really blurry. Not my thing

It's not variable - at least you don't have an opportunity to be a real jerk in this game. You are always polite. Sometimes you are more like direct and polite. I'd like to see more of variability as much as in dialogs and also in my choices - the game just pushes you to choose from 2 options which are so basic and forced, to make more unnecessary drama.

Romances are my biggest disappointment. They are not complete. Sorry, but the only one really romantic short scene with very quick fade to the black screen for the whole game? Is it some cruel joke? In 3-d part you could go to your romantic interest and kiss them whenever you like. And here there are just so few of really nice romantic scenes, it makes me really disappointed. For a one particular romance you could do so much more than that, but you choose not to. You could add some really good dialog options, to make the characters more alive and to feel more empathetic to them. You could add some really personal quests like you did with Dorian and Cullen. Didn't see any nudity. Ah, you can give now your companions gifts, like it was in origins and the 2 game. But don't be so excited - they don't have a proper cut scene for this.

And well. A story. It's fine. but it could have been so much more of this. One scene made me cry - I admit. This was good. But it's not enough at least for me.

If you are a fan of DA series - just don't buy it. This game made me so disappointed and really really sad. I probably shouldn't be playing it at all. Why we made these decisions in 1 and 2 and 3-d game? To make it completely ignored? Also I played it for 47 hours and completed all personal quests. And I completed the game. It feels too short, like they cut half of a content.
