Tense and atmospheric, Amnesia The Bunker is my favourite horror game right now. It is an excellent horror game.

I love the monster of this game, hearing it clambering through the walls around you is always terrifying, it's ai is very reminscient of Alien Isolation. The use of the generator is a very interesting mechanic and being far away from the safe room and encountering the power going out, allowing the beast to hunt you much easier, is a total ♥♥♥♥ yourself moment I havent seen in a horror game in a while.

The gameplay is intuitive, the addition of weapons to defend yourself is a welcome turn in the Amnesia games IMO, it doesnt make the monster any less of a threat. The soundtrack is also a big complement, I always found the menu soundtrack very atmospheric and the ambience is haunting.

I really recommend The Bunker, it's an incredible horror game. Devs have outdone themselves producing this gem
