Although a victim of Todd's wacky antics... Fallout 4 is still a fantastic entry in the fallout series and deserves a playthrough from anyone who loves the series.

The only reason im playing this is because of dark and darker postponement. Thats honestly the only reason to play the game because its pretty mid on every part of the spectrum.

The game Scales loot based on your level so there is no real big come ups, and armor is permanent so you dont really loose much when you die. the only reason to kill people is XP which i can respect.

TLDR: I only recommend this untill Dark and Darker Comes back (If it ever will... ♥♥♥♥ nexon)

Game Is good and fun, Just wait till full release to buy unless you want to support the devs.

Game is intentionally difficult. Its somewhere above Battle brothers and below Exanima in difficulty.

Character creation is on the way but is not important and there is plenty of content rn, there are just a lot of stones left unturned such as alchemy, in depth crafting, most of the magic schools, and the other towns in the game.

Keeping it simple.
The campaign sucks. The combat encounters are few and far between. The levels play like long corridors and hallways compared to boneworks huge open awesome levels (even sewers managed to capture this in boneworks). The levels introducing your avatars are decent untill small and talls levels.
However boneworks has been ported into bonelabs as a campaign so dont buy boneworks because you can play it in this game. Mods are what is keeping this game alive as that is a major selling point but does not justify 40$.

Buy on sale and dont suffer through the main campaign
