Such an amazing game for friends and by yourself. The dev team clearly care for the community, and it is an inspiration for small time devs. 10/10

This game was a wonderfully crafted project of passion that I had fun playing through. The developer, while it is their first game, clearly had a very creative mind when making this game, which paid off significantly.

The game is short, but has fun and challenging combat, as well as beautiful visuals. The VFX is this game were very well done, and I adored how everything interacted with it's environment. Fun gameplay, good visuals, exploration being rewarded, as well as there being an evident drive in the creator to make a cool and fun game makes this a wonderful project to play through.

I would really, really not recommend this game, unless you have a full group of friend to play with. The game is amazing, do not get me wrong. It is such a fun idea, and is executed quite well, besides the repetitiveness. The main issue with this game is the players. You will be lucky to join a lobby without someone cursing out someone, and then shooting them to the floor. There are usually more than one of them as well, so you can't vote them out. The community is just awful. Shooting people for no reason, yelling, just making monkey noises in the mic as loud as possible, anything goes. You will find yourself wanting to kick a puppy into the sun after playing this for an hour or so. Please, if you are going to play this game, do it with friends. With friends, it is absolutely amazing, and you will have a blast. Without though, and you will have a poor experience.

The game is fun. If you are a horror fan and want to be in the mind of the killer or face your worst childhood nightmares, this is your game. The original characters are great, but of course you have your licensed killers, Freddy, Bubba, Pyramid Head, Ghost Face, etc.

There is, however, a big problem with the game. The community is very, very toxic . If you decide to play as the killer, you will most likely get hit with a lot of toxic behavior in the end game chat. It does not matter how you play, this is usually the result. You kill all the survivors? You are a "Camper", a "tunneler", "trash", etc. Kill two out of the four survivors? You are a "Camper", a "tunneler", "trash", etc. Kill none of the survivors? You are a "Baby killer", "Trash", "Garbage", etc, and they will most likely say something along the line of "Ez".

Survivors mains in this game seem to have made their own set of rules for the killers, while they can do whatever they want. Killers can not do this, killers can not do that, they can't use this perk, but survivors can use whatever, they can't use this character, but survivors can use any they want, they can't use this add on, but why would the survivor not be able to use anything, they can't use this offering, but survivors can bring keys with no problem, etc. Now, there are those who are kind, but that tends to be on the lower end of the spectrum.

Of course, that is just focusing on the bad side. Overall, Dead By Daylight as a game, not focusing on the community, is amazing, where you can live your wildest horror dreams, well, nightmares. I would highly recommend you play this game, but please, be one of the good ones. Don't be part of the group that gives this game a bad rep. Good luck out there, it is hard to pick up, but when you do, you'll fall in love.
