In it's current state I cannot recommend this game especially to newcomers who've not played the first game (Go play that first, trust.)
If you're here to support the developers and see Grounded 2 in it's growth while providing feedback to the developers then by all means make that purchase.
While the notion of a bigger map is nice, it feels quite empty and void of interesting locations currently. In fact the only thing I'd say it's filled with is lots and lots of bugs ready to attack you. It's hard to imagine all these scorpions, Larvae, and mosquitos, etc are here in such frequent number. Aside from that the constant performance issues and bugs are a huge problem/annoyance. You got situations where bugs are either floating in the air or stuck under the map, constant sizzle effect burning you randomly and forcing you to respawn, Enemies such as Wolf Spiders and Scorpions magically appearing on top of you, items and backpacks clipping through the ground, and much more. Yes, we all know it's early access before you even think to comment such rubbish. Such feedback and criticism is still needed though. Once a couple updates come out I shall revise my review to match the current state of the game. As for now, I cannot recommend this to people unless you wish to support the developers and see it grow from the ground up.

As much as I love Monster Hunter I advise to stay away from this until they fix their game. I ran through the entire game without too many issues, but ever since the last two updates the game has ♥♥♥♥♥♥ worse in performance. Shame, because it's not a bad game when you can play it without it crashing. To all those "Well, it runs fine on my computer."

Congratulations, that's not the case for many unfortunately and hopefully you never have to experience such issues.

Stiff dialogue, poor story pacing, and mediocre sprites did it for me. Initially bought the game because I saw all the good reviews, but honestly it's okay at best. Does nothing new for creature collectors in my eyes. If purchasing I'd try and wait until it was on sale for like $5 one day.

Honestly this game was well worth the wait. I loved every little bit of it even though i've yet to beat it as my attention span is quite short for anything lately.
10/10 for sure though, from the art style to the music itself. I enjoyed every bit of it as well as the quirky characters. Reminded me a lot of Earthbound and Undertale. If you haven't played this I recommend you do so.

For kt's price it's pretty good. Art style is unique and quirky just like it's music. Pretty short, can be beat in four hours or less, but overall something you should experience.
