Well, I actually cleared the game on Veteran difficulty within 8 hours of the game's first release, and then spent a serious amount of time over the past few days fully enjoying Alliance in every way, before finally completing the game 100% on Impossible difficulty.
To be honest, Alliance still exceeds my expectations in some ways. We players have played as the forces of the Kingdom of Linirea and the forces of the Dark Army led by Vez'nan, and have deep feelings and memories of both sides.
In Alliance, these two sides have disregarded their old grudges and formed an alliance to fight a new enemy, which I'm sure any veteran of the KR series will be incredibly excited about. I couldn't wait for Alliance when it was first announced by Ironhide. After actually playing it, it also felt like it had a lot to offer.
In some ways, Alliance's overall difficulty is the highest in the entire series, especially the enemies from the air have high blood counts, some approaching 2,000 HP on Impossible difficulty, which is unprecedented. Because of this, Alliance prioritizes air strategy more than any other work in the series.
Many of the levels are also very difficult, requiring a more judicious use of strategy, choosing the right combination of heroes as well as defense towers in order to thrill your way through.
The design of the heroes is great, each hero has an irreplaceable role, there is no such thing as a particularly powerful hero as in previous works, but each hero can play the unique role.
All in all, I think Alliance is really good by the standards of what was just released. I feel like there's still a lot of potential to be realized with this one, and I look forward to the October update, and hope that Ironhide will take the various subsequent updates seriously.

It's actually quite touching to see the once familiar characters return once again, filled with so many memories.
(Okay, but it's really quite unkind of Ironhide to sell this part separately as DLC. I remember Ironhide promising before that the KR series would be updated for free. Other than that, this DLC is pretty good, maybe, I think)

Kingdom Rush Ⅰ - Questioning Vez'nan
Kingdom Rush Ⅱ - Understanding Vez'nan
Kingdom Rush Ⅲ - Admiring Vez'nan
Kingdom Rush Ⅳ - For Vez'nan!! Be afraid, the kingdom of Linirea, your real king has returned!!
Okay, no kidding, I really, really like Vengeance. Compared to Ⅰ, Ⅱ and Ⅲ, Vengeance has the most extensive gameplay and is very playable. The variety of defense towers and unique heroes make this game more strategic and interesting.
And, as we players take on the role of the villain, all the way back to Linirea, this time, we see the familiar characters become our enemies. They've all changed a lot from before, either more mature, more beautiful, more handsome, and so on. Honestly, it's really quite touching and full of memories.
Well, I guess it's time to form an alliance next. It's because of the buildup to this one that the next one reaches a climax like no other.

Kingdom Rush Ⅲ - Wilbur in the Lord of the Rings
Sadly, the PC version doesn't have an endless mode. I honestly kinda liked Origins' endless mode.
Compared to Ⅰ and Ⅱ, Origins has a much finer painting style and animation performance with very fine graphic details. And Origins expands and enriches the worldview of the KR series, making the whole story more grand and exciting.
In addition, Origins has the most powerful heroes (yes, I'm talking about you Wilbur) compared to Ⅰ and Ⅱ, and the design of the defense towers is also very clever, each type of defense tower can be used very well, and there will not be overpowered towers like the Gundam in Frontiers.
All in all, I really enjoyed this one too. And after this, we finally get our VENGEANCE...

Kingdom Rush Ⅱ - Dragon and Gundam
Although the first generation is the most iconic in my mind, I still really like Frontiers. Frontiers has a lot of new interesting gameplay systems, such as the hero upgrade system. Thanks to the powerful heroes and defense towers, this game has a lot more fun and interesting gameplay.
However, the price is that some levels are not well balanced, either too easy or too difficult (or not well thought out).
In the first generation, I collected 130 stars with the Veteran difficulty (the PC version does not allow the use of items, the Pocket Edition can be used, and I didn't use it in either version), and each level is very challenging and has a unique design idea and operation idea, which is a good challenge to the player's imagination, strategy, and creativity.
Compared to this, Frontiers is a little less impressive in this regard. But on the other hand, this is also a kind of player-friendly, because if you think the difficulty is too high, you can use powerful heroes and powerful items to help you get through the game, such as Bonehart, Sha'tra, Dante, etc.; whereas, the first generation's extreme difficulty and high strategy are not very friendly to every ordinary player.
All in all, Frontiers is very good and has its own unique characteristics compared to the first generation.

The most classic and wonderful tower defense game, strategic and fun. I often play it over and over again in my free time for more than 10 years and I never get tired of it.
A great work that never gets old.

A poignant fairy tale, a dreamlike journey of the heart, a perfect combination of Victorian and steampunk styles, a unique art style and Korean aesthetics, beautiful background music, richly portrayed characters, touching details of various plots...

It's not just as simple as a Soul-like game, it has a unique charm that even Dark Souls can't match.

And, the game's production company also deserves praise, I remember last year when version 1.0 was released, there were a lot of numerical balance problems. The production company listened to the feedback from the players and updated version 1.1 and 1.2 in a very short period of time to make the playing experience more comfortable. It's a good thing that the company listened to the players' feedback and kept improving the game, and the game is currently at version 1.5.

I just want to play the DLC as soon as possible now or I'll FEEL not good.

It's not a game, it's a great work of art, it's a touching movie, it's a romantic and moving epic. FF8 is the most worthy of the title FINAL FANTASY in the whole series, and it's one of the most fantastic and romantic works in the whole game history.
Most importantly, it often reminds me that at one point in time, mankind was still so purely in pursuit of innocence and beauty, of a love that no evil could ever desecrate. The kind of purity and true love that human beings used to try their best to describe and portray, the kind of love that they are willing to give up everything for someone, is totally different from the post-modern full of nowadays, which is full of questioning and mocking everywhere.
The best FF in my heart, bar none. Nowadays I can't help but get mesmerized and weep just by hearing its OST.

I will always love Dishonored, it's not just a game, it's a work of art, with a unique aesthetic style. The experience was brilliant and the ending was moving. I still can't forget the half hour or so I spent staring blankly at the screen after finishing the game, feeling moved and in love with it.

Well, I just want to remind you that this season pass does not include:
The Dreadful Crimes
...and you will need to purchase it separately.

Other than that, the rest of the content can only be described as moderate. Can wait for a discount.
