The game's player base hasn't changed much over the years. Infact, it's been getting kind of "Eeffoc"-ish. What I mean you can understand when you view the in-game chat of any server.
Nevertheless, the game is still very much fun and has many new players coming in commonly.
Bots are gone but not entirely; You can encounter some very rarely when playing, but don't worry as they'll get kicked eventually.

If you like having PTSD and Trautamization, this game is for you!

When i played this game for the first time, i was in a transport truck heading towards the frontlines. There was like around 4 fellow soldiers with me.
And a milisecond later, we get bombed and i barely make it out alive.
I crawled away from the explosion and when i looked behind, i saw mutilated corpses of my comrades.
some didnt have limbs at all!
And right after that we get gunned down by an enemy MG.

Honestly, Terrifying experience.
