Game totally slaps.

The combat feels super satisfying, and all the characters are very unique.

The balancing is great, and even though some item combinations are a bit overpowered, the game never bottlenecks you and lets you get as stupidly powerful as you want.

Playing alone is fine (especially with mods), but with co-op is where it is the best.

The only "bad" thing about it would be that you cannot save mid-game, so crashing on a good run (which happens quite often later into the game) results in the loss of it. Luckily, this can be fixed by installing mods from the r2modman modmanager, which allows you to install mods ranging from bug fixes, a saving feature, performance improvements, QoF mods, to things like new stages, characters, mechanics, bosses, enemies, items, and more.

This game is absolutely worth the price and you can easily spend hundreds of hours on it.
