Honestly, one of the best roguelike games I have ever played. The gameplay loop is engaging, and the kings are unique and fun (most of them - I don’t like Saladin, but maybe I haven’t spent enough time on him). Progression doesn’t feel grindy at all. I’m looking forward to new kings, units, and strategies - I’d really like to see rats one day, I think they would fit into the game’s aesthetic pretty well.

There are some minor bugs worth mentioning, which I encountered in a very specific situation: when my mouse disconnected (Bluetooth, dead battery) and I reconnected it, the game started “freezing” until I minimized and restored it.

Overall, a great game — hopefully more content will be added.

Review for steam award, pretty good game tho

This game was great even before this update, but now I think it's even better. I heard many players complain about bullet drop but in my experience it is not that bad. Playing snipers feels almost the same at most distances, and even after drop range, you need to only slightly adjust your aim. My biggest complaint is the menu UI. It is horrible, but I know devs are working on it, so that shouldn't be a problem in the near future. New map is very enjoyable to hunt on, the compounds are fun and it looks amazing. I'm looking forward to unlocking crossbow with scope, it seems very fun and unique.

You can shove balls into your enemies. Game approved.
