To say that this game took me by surprise would be an understatement. I wasn't expecting for the story to have so much heart and for the characters to feel so human. The dialogue was full of wit and humor. There were heartfelt scenes, unsettling moments and parts that made me smile. And there were times where a scene would leave me deep in thought. Growing up seems to be the key theme here, as well as friendship. And each character offers some insight into how life seems to take us all down different paths and different journeys. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a good, story driven experience.

Brothers is a bit light on gameplay but I found myself moved by the story and the fantastical atmosphere. Even without much dialogue the game managed to display themes of loss and grieving perfectly. The puzzles were also fun without being too difficult.

Oh, and the achievements were also fairly easy to complete...for those of you who may care about that sort of thing.

The dad puns alone are well worth the price.
I loved the humor and the light-hearted nature of the game. The art is top notch and I found myself playing through the story again and again just to experience the different endings.
Would highly reccomend to anyone who loves comedy, good writing and buff dad arms.
