Lets be honest here. Starfield is a collection of systems from better games done worse at the best of times.
Space Combat: Starfox on the n64 handles the EXACT same as this game.
Ground Combat: A ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ version of fallout 4's gun play.
RPG Aspects: It has a great "Illusion of choice", but really fails to hit the note that games like New Vegas or Fallout 3 did. If Fallout 4 was a step backwards, and Fallout 76 was a nosedive off of a cliff then Starfield is dragging your nuts through 3 miles of burning coals before jumping into an inferno.
Honestly if they'd stop using the hilariously outdated Creation Engine maybe this would have worked, but that engine was outdated a decade ago.
The best thing that i can say about this game is that the ship builders pretty cool.

Overall Rating: 3/10. Are there worse games out there? Absolutely. That does not change the fact that this game was a massive L for Bethesda, and should be a case study on how not to design a game. The fact that it was marketed as a "Labor of Love" from Bethesda should tell you all you need to know: The Love of Money strikes again.
