Great Visual Novel

I went into Everlasting Summer mostly to laugh because from the outside its an anime style Russian origin visual novel with Мику Хацунэ (Hatsune Miku) in it. I mean come on, it sounds ridiculous. Mostly because of the Russian Miku who I will now be referring to as Muki for the rest of this review. I booted Everlasting Summer up and proceeded to go through the opening and prologue just expecting terrible writing. However I actually started to get really invested in the world because of how well done Everlasting Summer is made. To start, this game actually has a fire soundtrack, the visuals are great, characters are lovable and there is this gorgeous opening scene which roped me in really quickly. The story itself is extremely interesting and had me constantly wanting more and more. I can't delve into specifics as to avoid spoiling anything for anyone. But Everlasting Summer has great dialogue that really makes you care and get invested in its cast of characters. Like Muki.

Now this visual novel is very long. Its something you would take breaks between playing and pick up on different days. If you are someone who prefers short 30 min to 1 hour visual novels it probably isn't for you. On top of that Everlasting Summer has like 14 endings, seven good and seven bad. Half of them you can save before the final choices. But you will have to play through the game at least seven times to experience them all or if you are an achievement hunter. I really recommend Everlasting Summer because I thoroughly enjoyed my time becoming invested in the characters and story. And hey it has Muki in it so just another reason to like it.
