Game has some rough edges, but I still enjoyed it. Though not being able to go back after the last dungeon is a throwback that can live in gaming history, in my opinion. Otherwise the game has a lot character and style to be enjoyed by retro gamers.

Maybe I didn't give it a chance, but I found the battles and monster designs way too basic to be fun, Depends on what your into I suppose.

Best metroidvania I've played in years, should have bought it sooner. Challenging, no hand holding, lots of replayability, beautiful art style, 9/10. Maybe I would have liked a few more hints as to item locations, if Blasphemous had come out in the 90's I definitely would have bought the strategy guide :)

Prime example of how Steam tags can steer you wrong. This game crosses the line between point and click, and visual novel. Hardly any puzzles or side games. You're just on a track listening the The Voice and and making observations. I guess there is more than one ending, but I didn't find it engaging enough to play again. Too bad

Just as cute and nostalgic as the first,
They made some gameplay changes, but so does every Zelda game. Not sure why some people would complain about that.
I do wish the combat was more difficult, but I still had fun. Hope they make Blossom Tales 3.

More of what's great about the game, love it.

Normally I wouldn't comment on a free DLC. However the controls are so bad it was honestly not fun to play. The sub drives like ship from Asteroids, and the Kaiju fight at the end was just boring. Get it if you want another fetch quest, or just want to see the cute cut scenes.

This game is bursting with personality, I had so much fun.
Great for us weirdos who love water levels. The ending hinted at a sequel and I will absolutely be buying it.
My one complaint is you're friends with all the whales except the narwhal. Why no love for them game?
