Still awful even after it got picked up again.
Crowbar is impossible to find, sometimes the ai messes up badly and doesn't even do what it's supposed to, maps have no clear direction and make you wander around aimlessly.

Steam needs a mixed review option.

I played this till questionable ethics until I gave a review. The textures, models, guns, animations are all well done. I'm fine with the visual effects, and the gore is done well too. What isn't done well is the damage. Headcrabs taking 10-20 of your health for no reason, takes a full smg mag to kill a soldier sometimes. I wish they would have fixed the damage, a double shotgun blast to the head should kill a soldier. The 357 is the only quick way to deal with them. Random events too, There are barnacles where there wasn't in the original, there is a guard in questionable ethics where if you allow him to follow you in the next testing room a vort spawns in the small lab room and presses the button to evaporate a snark nest, closing you out and forcing you to go into the rooms containing headcrabs (that again do tons of damage for no reason). This reminds me of HL2 Overcharged but to a better extent, at least there isn't cut enemy number 1,967 in a place it doesn't belong, and at least there isn't a million different weapon models from gamebanana.
