My computer has a poor graphics card so take this with a grain of salt if your computer is decent but the game played really well for several hours and as far as game play goes (this was my first leap into the doom franchise) I loved every second of it. After i closed the game to eat and came back the game ran at about half the speed of normal, which being in campaign mode just meant everything ran in slow motion. This didn't inhibit my ability to play but it did curb my enjoyment somewhat since the smooth and fast game play is really what makes the game shine (along with the carnage of course). If your computer can handle this game then I highly recommend it but if you own a potato I would stay away.

As far as game play goes:
+Gratuitous violence
+Raging bull fighting style
+Glory kill variety
+Big f-ing guns
+Weapon mods
+Doomguy seems to like punching everything
But downsides include:
-Parkour
-Easy to get lost even with nav points
-Map menu is kinda weird especially since you cant rotate the view
