FYI: This was my first Resident Evil game I've ever played and introduced me to the series. Bought this on Xbox in January 2019 around the time the game launched. I did not play the original and won't make any comparisons to the original.

This game is incredible. The gameplay, the 3rd Person POV, puzzles, resources, ammo, inventory, weapons, THE GRAPHICS, attention to detail, voice acting, ambiance/mood, lighting, setting, etc etc. I could go on and on. Almost everything this game has is perfect and up to par with the current generation of survival horror if not setting the bar for other survival horror games. Every setting you play in is detailed and filled with space for you to explore. The mood and ambiance is creepy and dark af, and almost never stops keeping you on your toes and even if you are wary you'll still probably get a bit jumpy at some parts. Raccoon City is a ruin of death and destruction. The rain storm that takes place in the game sets the tone so so well. There are very few sections where you actually do walk around the city but when you do its amazing. The zombies are incredibly detailed with blood and gore. An awesome detail is the effects of the gore. If you blow their head off with a shotgun, its going to look like you blew their head off with a shotgun. The sound effects are nasty and realistic. Burn marks if you blew them up with a grenade, rocket launcher, and grenade launcher. Their limbs fall off if you shoot them enough. Wide variety of weapons and are fun to use and try out. Detail to reloading techniques, smoke exhausts from the barrels of weapons, reload animations differ from when you have an empty magazine/no ammo vs a weapon that still has some ammo in the gun. Characters are great and almost all of them serve their purpose. Almost all of them...

A couple of issues I had with the game.

- Sherry

- Pacing (some sections are slow and at times seem really pointless)

- Not enough interaction with Leon and Claire

- 2nd Run scenario barely changes anything and gives you another boss fight... this is just meh

- Each characters campaign is barely even unique with 2 different boss fights, one different playable character section, and replaced characters. Its basically pick who you wanna be for the same story

Started with Halo 3 and been playing ever since. Put so much time into all of these games on Xbox. Every halo here has an amazing campaign with a rich story that is continued and expanded on in the next (yes including 4, fight me). It's already known across the world that the music in halo is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ god tier, with Halo 3, Reach, 1, 2, ODST, 4 ranked in my personal favorites. Multiplayer is addicting and super fun to play, customs are awesome with friends, playing BTB (Big Team Battle) is crazy action with friends. Zombies is my most favorite mode to play, specifically on reach. Firefight on Reach and ODST are great arcade modes to try out and last as long as you can. Spartan Ops is a complete joke, I really wouldn't recommend playing it at all and looking up the cut scenes and dialogue on youtube or something if you're really interested in it (you're really not missing out on much). My real and only complaint is that coop campaign is still a nightmare to play connection wise, but that's been an issue since Xbox live on H3 in 2007. Almost all of these games are perfect and are definitely worth your time and the price.
