Everything a good roller coaster and theme park game should be.

Fun game, but ultimately disappointing. I really enjoyed combat, loyalty quests, and kingdom management, but felt that often the main story line kind of got in the way. With a story that is nearly impossible to compete without player guides and walk-through's, the horrible consequences of not responding the the timeline in a timely manner nearly forced me to quit in frustration a few times.
Took 150 hours to complete, but likely would have taken twice as long without the internet's help.
By far the MOST disappointing aspect was the ending. While fantastic story wise, I'm irritated that you are forced to end the game. I'd have enjoyed some time continuing to play with the kingdom and grow it. Had I known I wouldn't be able to do anything with the resources I'd accumulated, I'd have played a very different game. And I'm not sure I want to play again.
Last piece of annoyance is the death of main characters based off small tiny details throughout the story. Failing to make one exact small choice out of tens of options results in the permadeath of some favorite characters, even if they were perfectly loyal to you in the end. This forces you to end the game with mercenaries rather than the characters you fostered relationships with through a hundred + hours of game play.
So would I recommend? Yeah, sure. But don't grow too attached to anything you spend time building.

Positives: Gameplay is a blast, and the closest you'll ever get to playing table top on a computer. The Game allows for a bunch of different play options depending on your personal preferences, and if you change your mind mid way through, you can still change things around.
The voice actors are INCREDIBLE! Hands down the best part of the game. My biggest disappointment was reaching areas of dialogue with main characters that hadn't been recorded for some reason.

Would love a version of this game without the final booked ending that allows you to keep playing the same kingdom with the DLCs, and maybe in the future a sequel game that allows you to travel to Brevoy. The kingdom building was the best part of the game, and was devastatingly short.
