Mercenaries doesn't hold up as good as the original/less content and not as refined. Literally you can get all 150 enemies streaked in your first attempt playing the mode.

Bought it again on Steam because this game is that good. Vanguard and MW2 has only disappointed compared to the hundreds of hours I put into this game. I hope Raven will make another as it's the only COD dev I think I will buy

I'll change to positive if I like it more when I beat it but so far....
WAY TOO much talking from the main character and god his voice actor doesn't fit the role. He sounds like a young guy wishing to be steve blum. I was kinda hoping for a minimal/silent protagonist but NO you are TWO voices in one head because of your AI friend. Just so much more talking compared to what was shown. Almost feels a lil weird for me to say that but I wish it had less talking
Also it really holds your hand. So far its opening is taking twice as long as bioshock infinite. It's not even teaching you much, just very slowly teasing you with the world to the point where you get bored and just ignore the dialog
And the FOV is trash. Had to use flawless widescreen to fix it a lil but tends to make it crash
Oh and jesus the main character says "Crispy Critters!" whenever something happens. Its so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying. The protagonist is kinda cringy and annoying

Great remake! I literally couldn't think of a better way to do it. It truly felt like how I first played it when it first came out but only more improved, perhaps I was even more amazed in some regards. Also great starting point for newcomers! The second game aged very well! (I hope to god they remake it too)
