This is a true Mafia game. Linear action game with heavy narrative focus. And I love it!!!! I love the characters, the story and the setting。But, the game is poorly optimized and 7900XT often drops frames.

This is a game where you lose your judgment and gain an unwavering belief, but now seriously, insanely fantastic game. It has more content than the previous game, also two new stances (Snake and Boxer), which are very very nice in my opinion, the story was taken a step further and went more into the emotional side rather than Judgment's movie-like thriller story, still though i overall enjoyed it, also the highschool part was pretty fun and the same for the side quests/stories. Overall? A must play game, but it is better if you play Judgment first to understand a few things more

I was in hunger for good fun game.
And then I found this game, I bought the game on full price without hesitation. And it was TOTALLY WORTH IT. Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii gave me great time, this is the best game i have come across in 2025. And it's fairly challenging in some part.
After this game I like Majima even more.

Keep it comin' with this Absolute Cinema, Sega and RGG Studio!

This game is easily my second favorite Yakuza title. The gameplay is IS ABSOLUTELY PEAK, smooth, polished, and finally lets you switch between two fighting styles depending on who you’re up against with one being fast paced like the rush style in Yakuza 0 and the other being the legendary dragon style. The story has it all from PEAK aura moments, emotional scenes that hit hard, and a cinematic feel thanks to the amazing graphics on max settings.
The ending is without a doubt the best in the whole series so far, and it sets up the next game perfectly. The mini-games were amazingly engaging and are super fun and the Coliseum addition fits in perfectly getting those builds down was definitely something to look forward to.
From The Man Who Sold the World to The Man Who Erased His Name, both carry that top tier aura that’s simply is unmatched.

An amazing sendoff for a beloved character and a great jrpg all around.

Classic Jrpg with a modern paint of coat . All classes are fun with really good synergy with one another. Setting up the best team is part of the fun .

Storywise its a bit weaker compare to its prequel but from what i can see they are setting up a very strong foundation for a sequel. All the pieces from 2 games are in places with how the ending plays out, I can see how some people might find the ending a let down especially how Ichiban kinda get side benched a lot on the later half.

Also Kiryu's part of the game depends on your knowledge of the series since there are a lot of callback from previous games. The impact would be low if people started playing the series from LAD instead of Kiryu's saga All and all its a very solid jjrpg on its own and a very good entry for yakuza series.

I got gifted this game by a very close friend of mine, and even though I was skeptical about it first, I was literally proven wrong the second I hit play. Yakuza 0 is amazing. No, scratch that- amazing isn't enough to describe it. It's a masterclass in storytelling, gameplay, and character development that no gamer should miss ever. As someone who has apparently only scratched the surface with a 27% completion rate, I can confidently say that this game is a rare gem and I recommend EVERYONE to play it at least once.

The narrative juggles between two protagonists, Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima, each with their own gripping stories that are as emotional as they are thrilling. Kiryu's journey through the ranks of the yakuza and Majima's tumultuous life in Osaka provide a deep dive into the complex yakuza culture and personal redemption. The dialogue is so rich, SO laden with lore that deepens every interaction and makes the world feel alive and teeming with history. And don't even get me started on the combat. It's intensely satisfying. Each punch, kick, and throw (be it a whole damn couch or a book you pickedup) is visceral, with fluid animations that make brawling through the streets and enemies a real pleasure. The game masterfully balances brutal fights with moments of humor and poignancy- which in my opinion only adds layers to the experience.

While my low completion rate is due to the fact that I'm not a fan of mini-games in general- I will say that Yakuza 0 offers a variety of these, from karaoke to fishing, which provide a delightful diversion from the main story. However, what truly stands out are the side stories. Each one is a slice of life, packed with humor and heart that often contrast with the main narrative's darker themes.

The graphical fidelity is top-notch in my opinion, with environments that perfectly capture the essence of Japan in the '80s. The soundtrack complements every scene, enhancing the emotional weight and excitement of the story!

But seriously, the dialogue in Yakuza 0 is not just functional; it's foundational to the emotional depth of the game. It’s meticulously crafted to bring out the subtleties of each character's personality, making them feel real and relatable. For someone who isn't easily moved (if at all), I found myself genuinely touched by several moments in the game. I love Majima, but as someone who relates more to Kiryu as a person, I felt like I could see, feel and experience the world through his eyes. Kiryu’s interactions often explore themes of sacrifice and duty, which are delivered with such sincerity that it's hard not to feel a connection. These moments are poignant reminders of the game's ability to weave narrative and gameplay seamlessly into an emotionally engaging experience. The power of the dialogue extends beyond the main story, affecting side quests and even casual interactions. It’s a testament to the game’s writing that even minor characters leave a lasting impression (), adding to the rich tapestry that makes Yakuza 0 so unforgettable!!

In conclusion, Yakuza 0 isn't just a game; it's an unforgettable experience. With its rich narrative, exhilarating combat, and great characters, it's a title that transcends its genre. Whether you're here for the story, the fights, or the laughs... Yakuza 0 delivers on all fronts. I recommend it wholeheartedly to everyone.

Let Kiryu and Majima take you on a journey you won't forget. Literally. They live in my head rent free now. 1000/10

Early Access Review
Do not buy this game, the game is a sales fraud, the paid content is maliciously modified, the company has no concept of private property, they use false publicity to cheat money, and then turn your purchase into garbage unconditionally. If you have a lot of money, you might as well give it to the poor instead of giving it to crooks.
