This game saved my life.

I am 27.

My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and adopted our son together. They are now both 4 years old.

When we were going through our separation, I found myself lost and miserable. I was self destructive. I got so mad one day from everything spiraling out of my control that I punched some concrete in a moment of overwhelming emotion. That caused me to break my 5th metacarpal in my right hand... my working hand... my games hand.. the hand that I held and carried my children to bed with.. The hand I desperately needed to make sure I could continue to provide.

After learning of the severity of my self-inflicted damage, I was borderline suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man with no history of depression or anxiety. I have never had fits of rage, or been one to break down and cry, but I was in a low spot that just really buried me from being able to see the light on the other side.

Having nothing better to do, I searched for a game I could play, ONE HANDED while I recovered. I somehow stumbled upon this game and read some of the reviews. I decided that it had to be worth a shot... I must admit, I didn't beat the game, or play nearly as long as some of you. In fact, I may have only played this game a day or two.. With that being said, after doing so, I had a new found joy and hope for life. I was able to put behind me the pain and suffering that had been cast over me. I was able to experience other peoples joy and happiness. I was able to see the fruits of my "labor". I relaxed for minutes to this music long enough to realize that I was going to be okay.

After coming to that realization, I turned the game off, and I went back to work. It hurt my hand like heck but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself, and I became the father I needed to be in that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving as.

Today, I am close friend with my kids mother. We don't fight, or argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents, and friends.

I now have 3 kids. My third child is, wait for it, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my own separation, and we just stumbled in to each others life unexpectedly. We have been in a relationship for a year now, and are very happy together.

Moral of the story, you never know what life holds in store for you, and if I would have given up when all the odds were stacked against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that.

This game is easily the most flushed out and detailed Backrooms games currently available on Steam.
I was a bit hesitant to purchase after seeing a lot of mixed refused but I decided to just bite the bullet and do it. Here is my honest opinion and some pros and cons.

Pros:
-Multiple levels. (ranging in difficulty significantly, in no particular order.)
-Fun and pretty terrifying at times.
-Really good graphics.
-Multiplayer mode. (Haven't touched it yet because I have no friends)

Cons:
-A set, laid out path that does not differ between playthrough to playthrough. No randomization like most Backrooms games/lore.
-Some AI/monster bugs, especially in the second to last level. That level is also extremely long and not very fun relative to other levels.
-Some RNG when it comes to beating Level Fun! in a certain section. Beating it seems to depend on spawn locations of some Partygoers. (Maybe I'm just bad.)
-Very small parts of the game incomplete or lacking graphics wise.

Overall, this game is very polished and flushed out. Some bugs make certain sections of this game slightly annoying- but nothing that's impossible to get past. The path isn't plainly laid out so referring to a guide or walkthrough is definitely recommended. Unfortunately, if you do this the game can go by quite quickly. (I completed in just over 2 hours.) And the replayablility isn't quite there unless you're playing multiplayer.

If you're a fan of the Backrooms, this game is the best currently on the market. It is more than a great time and will give you some good scares. Would definitely recommend.

If you're not a Backrooms fan but this game still looks interesting, I would wait until the game goes on sale or has been a bit more polished.

this sucked nothing loaded and had a very bad experience. not immersive enough i wish it was like real squid game :(

This is an absolutely outstanding game.
This game is super relaxing and laid back, which is a nice break from the competitive gaming scene.
It's addictive, has a fun and friendly storyline, and did I mention it's super relaxing?
Even if you're not into simplistic-style, laid back (farming) games; I still highly recommend trying this game out. It will expand your taste for games. If you're not too hot on the idea, purchase it while it's on sale. Trust me, you wont regret it.

Highly recommend this game to anyone of all ages. It's extremely funny and silly while maintaining an entertaining and addicting story line. It has tons of collectables, such as pets, weapons and characters making the game hard to put down. 10/10 this game is amazing.

I love the gameplay and whatnot, it's just extremely hard to get keys unless you pay for them, and they are quite overpriced. Even when you do buy them to open crates, your likelyhood of getting something good is very low.
I never like games that I have to pay for multiple times.
Other than that, it is a really fun game.
