overall hunt: showdown 1896 has left a bad taste in my mouth, some good changes some bad. secondly, why does the throwing spear exist this thing is beyond broken and without even a second thought worth running every single game. gone are the days of actually having to make sacifices to your loadout with the tools category when now you can run the throwing spear and have the best of all worlds you no longer have to think about sacrificing both traps as a solo to bring throwing axes or knifes fusees etc when now you can have the throwing spear be your main melee with the added benefit of being able to throw it and have extended range making it the best for melee fighting hunters (even with the nerf it is still broken and probably always will be) :( i miss the old hunt
