A 2D fighting game by arc works entertainment

Cost vs Time: about $1 for every 3 hours
Story: It mainly follows the story of Ragna as he makes his way around the 13th Hierarchical City of Kagutsuchi, as you progress through the city you will be tasked with fight the other Blazblue characters 1 on 1, ending it with a fight with yet another familiar face once again. Along with Ragna's story, you will also be able to play as the other playable characters and their stories as well.
Through the progression of the story you get to make choices, these choices would either affect who you would fight next or lead to what is called a gag reel. These gag reels often lead to funny and unique interactions with the BB cast and are worth checking out.

Gameplay: Having played all the BB games besides Tag, I feel that it has its problems, one of them being a few balance problems. Some characters are kind of broken and others lack usability, this problem, however, is fixed in later games. One of the things that this game has is astral finishes, which are like fatalities without the gore, but are flashier and are geared to those who are a fan of anime.

Conclusion/final thoughts
This was one of the first games I had bought on steam and had brought me into the world of fighting games. It has its problems and you would be better off getting Blazblue continuum shift as it has the story of CS as well. It would still be worth getting it on a sale, due to its low pricing and fun that it would bring.
