I absolutely wouldnt recommend, im glad i bought it in sale. it looks nice yes, but you cannot "do" much, you cannot set electric switches yourself individually without setting an entire path, you cannot pass red signals even if its done sefely and according to protocol, and that not even in "free roam" wich has no reason to have "free" in its name. The game is following the declinging DTG trend of restricting the possibilites and creativity of the player, especially like cursed crashes from TS arent doable anymore it blackscreens immediately taking silly fun out, and trying to be superficially professional, while i as Traindriver can tell you that this Game is just a Game and this this far away from simulation or reality that it feels off them being so dramatic when it comes to serious stuff. If it blackscreens when you pass a red signal becuase this software is bugged, it also should blackscreen when you cross a track hence iRL you also are allowed to ONLY use the official workers paths to cross rails. or you also should not be allowed to push a shunted group without shunting worker in the front of the group, driving blindly. Pathetic inconsistency, while being very restrictive and just giving enough to make the people that come here for the beautyful bling bling satisfied. but not more because it would be "work" and DTG obviously is here for the money. TS is still better yet not so pretty.

The game itself would be a 9/10 but when progressing further and having a big property there are permanently heartbeat like stutter patterns (Frametime) wich seems to originate from the Games Engine itself, (or the Workers) it seems to be connected to the time progression of day, because the moment the clock hits 4am and the timeprogression stops, the heavy stutter stops in 100% of the cases, and begins in 100% of cases the moment when you wake up and the time progression restarts. i can confirm that its not a hardware related problem - sadly UNPLAYABLE at the moment. Also some employees are bugging out and do nothing, only when you load into the game they get debugged once but seize to work after completing their first cycle. Already submitted report to Schedule 1 discord, yet its not resolved months later.

Fun thing to have, but absolutely not "Worth" the pricetag, some steam locomotives dont even have moving wheels and connecting rods wich could be done better by any modder, for free.

There needs to be a LOT of polishung, many small immersion-breaking things like entering a store, and getting insulted but when entering trade screen there, you are welcome, like it never was otherwise. It actually surprised me because i didnt expect lack of care/polishing in these regards in a game this big and otherwise high quality. The combat system is abysmal in my opinion and the NPC AI wayyy to stiff and robotic. the lack of a difficulty setting makes it "barely playable" for people like me who are not into the Eldenring like challenge but into the immersion and story, while being too bad to hold up against the combat system, ruins a lot of fun loosing an entire day just because some dog consumed 100% of my healty just because i didnt strike a sinlge hit because the sword is too short to reach the dog or something...

Best GTA there is, not too much, not too less. The Definitive edition is NOT a Legit game, this Original PS2 GTA San Andreas is the ONLY valid one.

Trains/Railway coding is A$$ - never seen a software with such bad train management and pathfinding. Also i cannot figure out how railway signals are supposed to work in this game, and this being said, im irl train driver... this is really awefully written/coded

I really would have bought this without getting anything in return. UBoat is a good example of how developers should be and of how Games should be, not monetised to the brim, but quality in mind.

Quests get RESET bc ONLINE. Bugged. Enemies are bullet sponges. High Latency gameplay due to off site processing. Damage output not connecting to npcs (Not dealing damage) Inventory size behind an PAYWALL. SEVEN TIMES THE DETAIL!!!
