I loved to play robocraft 1 back when I was young and the game was like one year old. Robocraft 1 already made me sad when I tried to play it again a year ago, it was still okay, but a lot felt wrong and it was unbalanced.
Going into robocraft 2, the menu looked okay-ish, directly clicked on play to see what I will get. Now in a round, the structures are cool i guess, but everything else just got worse.
The map somehow got even more lifeless which is a wonder.

The new background voice which tells you what's going on is now a dark demon instead of the cool friendly smart lady voice in robocraft 1. When someone shoots of your weapon by destroying the blocks under it, the weapon just lays around while the robo still can move, but the odd thing that little weapon can still shoot me to death?

I have read a lot about freejam and the other games like "techblox" from which Robocraft is supposed to be made, I already saw from error messages that the gamecode has "techblox" in it which is odd. I think it's a shame, but unfortunately I can't say anything more about it

Building the robo thingies is interesting, some new stuff, how you can edit the behavior of some objects, a hot dog just ate me, that was weird. Thinking about how to manage the materials is a cool concept, however, not good for my slow brain.
