this game is amazing. when i first got my pc, i didnt use it practically at all for about a year, but then i started getting really into more pc based games and went ahead and downloaded this game. at first, it was like i had no idea how to exist and i didnt know what to do. after a while, though, i got used to controls and how the game worked, started grinding my way up and eventually beat the moon lord. to this day, i have no idea where the 1350+ hours i played this game came from. now that i have a better pc, i will be getting back into this game and yet again grinding my way up to the moon lord and defeating him. one downside though, i definitely lost a few hours of much needed sleep, if you get this game, get ready to either very slowly grind your way up by playing when you can, or just saying, "Sleep is for the weak" and go absolutely ham.

In response to some negative reviews that I have seen before my friend getting Slime Rancher for me, I would like to clear up some foggy things that may pull people away from Slime Rancher. First, the game play and game style. I've seen way too many people saying, "The game is too repetitious, all you do is find slimes, feed them, sell their poop (plorts), and use the money to get tech to find more slimes and get more money." But there is a humongous flaw with this argument if you already bought the game with 20 dollars, at your own free will, and most likely expecting a game that is literally meant to be repetitious. I love this game to death and I love the friend who bought it for me but at first I was going to complain too. I was expecting a tycoon-y game with simple mechanics that wouldn't have any good gameplay, and I was right, but only because that is what makes the game good. Simple mechanics, calming music soothing you when you die in the slime sea, Slime Rancher is a simple game, but in the best way possible.

This game is amazing, the only issue is that there are no popular vanilla servers. Granted, I myself use mods, but just to enhance the experience and enjoyment of the game. Without the mods, the game is still really good, but I would still prefer if there were mods more commonly. Also, the servers usually have kits, some sort of currency, and are pvp. The game itself is still great, but when I want to actually enjoy it I have to be in singleplayer so I dont have to worry about a random naked that happend to find a Rocket Launcher and ammo for said RPG shooting willy nilly at the nearest breakable player-built structure.
