I start the game and within minutes, I have a smile on my face. Memories come back and wish they had stayed untouched before I tried to enhance them with this.
While being a big fan of the "first" (and only) game, this "thing" is a very sad attempt at something. Don't know what that something is to be honest... Maybe a cash grab on something beloved by the people.
First game: Follow Stanley and his boring life, that apparently has something to it. It has movement and choices.
This thing (Talking about the "newcontent"): It's a complete change of subject from the original. Stanley is no longer the main character. You just follow a sad, long and boring path. You are shown a museum for the original game and a parody plan for a sequel while the no longer smart and humorous narrator rambles on, on numerous times for too long for it to be funny anymore.
It is embarassing for a company to charge money for this thing. It should have been an update.
For 22€ you can buy a discounted or older AAA game that hundreds of people spent years working on and that will give hours of something to look forward to.
I would bet that the people responsible for this thing aren't the ones responsible for the original game. If they are, they really lost touch or since of direction.
Really sad
PS: The "skip button" room was really atrocious.
