my account was recently compromised. i was scammed of TF2 items, and my account was also used to spread phishing link to almost all of my Steam friends. if you have interacted with the link that was sent from my account in last few days (Steam Workshop), please protect your account and change your password. ensure you have Steam guard on your mobile device.
---
the phishing scam was really well made. I was sent this link from a trustworthy Steam account and i fell for it. then, trade offers and messages were sent from my account without me even knowing. i've found out thanks to my real-life friend who was suspicious of me texting in English instead of our native tongue. but it was too late at that point.
i am even more angry that i fell for the scam and that my account used my personality, trustworthiness and our friendships to trick you as well. i feel terrible and i wanted to let you know this way, since i can't use chat at the moment.
i'm sorry.
