Game good again

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this game is a masterpiece. From its release in 2020, to its steam debut in 2024, all of it meets and exceeds expectations for an action adventure game.


The Gameplay: Great

The Atmosphere: ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ PHENOMENAL

ALL of it is amazing.
PSN requirement for multiplayer is a bit disappointing, but you shouldn't be buying this singularly for its multiplayer.

I've given so many hours to these games, just for what feels like a rugpull with the lack of new content at a reasonable price.

To see what CA, or SEGA, or whoever it is making these decisions utterly disregard the player base for money and greed is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ disheartening.

The state of the game is not intolerable, but its still leagues away from how they left Warhammer 2, and to pretty much leave this game on half life support, (and still call it one of their active titles) and then move developers to their new IP, HYENAS, that looks like a generic dead on arrival apex clone you would see in a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ straight to DVD movie, it makes me pretty mad.

Yes I still bought shadows of change, I still don't think it was worth it. Yes I guess that makes me the problem, I don't care about that. I want this game to flourish so bad. I want CA and SEGA to genuinely care about this game like they did with Warhammer 2. If that makes me selfish, so be it.

My biggest fear for this series is the impasse of players abandoning it and they cut support, or CA cuts support and everyone leaves. Its so scary to know that these outcomes might become closer to reality with each passing day.

This is of course a first world problem at the end of the day. and really doesn't matter in the long term of most of our lives, but right now, I just wish this game was better. I know it can be. Warhammer 2 showed me that.


Please lower the prices. Please just let this series stay alive. Please CA.


Update: HYENAS has been canceled due to very low sales in Europe. What a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ twist!!! It wasn't just dead on arrival, it died before it could even arrive!!!

Overpriced for the amount of content it has, dont buy if you have a choice of another better dlc (i.e. chaos dwarfs, prophet and the warlock, Vampire Coast.)
