My name is Squidward Q. Tentacles. I'm... well, old enough. My moai statue is in the northeast section of Bikini Bottom, where all the morons are, and I am not married. I work as a cashier at the Krusty Krab restaurant, and I get home every day by 5 PM at the latest, eager to escape the chaos. I don't enjoy loud music, but I occasionally play my clarinet. I'm in bed by 10 PM, and make sure I get eight hours of sleep, no matter what. After having a cup of tea and doing about twenty minutes of grumbling before going to bed, I usually have no problems sleeping until morning. Just like a grumpy octopus, I wake up without any enthusiasm or excitement in the morning. I was told there were no issues with my grumpiness at my last... uh, "check-up" with my neighbor, SpongeBob. I'm trying to explain that I'm a person who wishes to live a very quiet, peaceful life, free from the annoyances of those around me. I take care not to trouble myself with any enemies, like SpongeBob's relentless cheeriness, that would cause me to lose sleep at night. That is how I deal with society, and I know that is what brings me... well, not happiness, but at least tolerance. Although, if I were to fight, I wouldn't lose to anyone... but I'd rather not fight at all.
