I played this on the highest difficulty it gave me (Sniper Elite). It was hell.

This is all you need to know:
- minuses -
- The movement felt like you were constantly stuck on a slip and slide -
- The terrain was rough, i kept stubbing my toes and breaking my nose on tiny invisible walls -
- The bot aim on this difficulty (Sniper Elite) felt like you were made out of the worlds most powerful magnet-
- You were born with the worlds slowest hands, changing guns will get you killed many times -
- Throwing grenades was rough (Bouncing back at you, tanks not always exploding) -
- The glitch where the bots constantly do 180s while they walk, making stealth in some cases impossible -
- Random unexpected glitches that make you question if you are doing the quest right -

+ pluses +
+ Never knowing where enemies are, making you scared to stand up or move +
+ The game made me hallucinate enemies +
+ Death cam +
+ Those moments when you perfectly quick scope and get a head-shot +
+ Getting jump-scared by enemies running up from around the corner +
+ When stealth works it's satisfying +
+ I liked the variety in mission types +
+ Some maps were really great, some bland +
+ Most of the time you are forced to collect bullets, health kits and stuff by looting corpses to survive +
+ Rooftop sniper hell +
+ Full healing gives you the best feeling ever +

Conclusion:
Games fun, get it if you're willing to suffer a little. I think the game is a must, if you're a cultured gamer that is.
So go on and experience that crispy fried feel of 2005. :)
