Do not let these positive reviews fool you, this game is terrible in its current state and even from beta there has not been any improvement in game play whats so ever. Fight night champion, what come out 14 years ago is miles ahead better than this game in terms of game play and punch animations. Literally nothing works, in terms of there being any skill gap because you are not able to counter any low level player as the game is literally rock sock em robots. You could input the perfect punch to counter say a body spammer and the punch animation will come out janky or in slow mo and punches have no fluidity or any snap or sharpness to them, uppercuts feel terrible, combos do not flow well and the jab feels non existent and do not get me started about attempting to jab forward to get into range of the opponent. UFC has its flaws but they have the striking system down in my opinion compared to any striking game at the moment. At least you can counter dumb stuff your opponent throws and actually fight with some sort of IQ. Steel City Interactive you seriously need to sort your **** out because this games is terrible and i hope you make some big improvements for game launch otherwise this game will be buried with the nail in the coffin...
