After looking at most of the bad reviews, they either seem to be about movement, which the devs themselves said they didnt touch at all, or how its pretty much a skill issue lol

Recently ive been getting bored and tired of fps games, and i dont know how but The Finals is the most fun ive had in one in a while. So much so that its one of my top 3 favorite games, right behind NieR automata (which ive bought twice PS4/PC) and Absolver (bought 3 times PS4/Xbox/PC). Which is saying something for me personally cause i only have 3 favorite games lol

Also ive played this game 21hrs straight right after it came out, literally took the weekend off just to play it

But i say all that to say that in my opinion, this isnt like most shooters out there, or at least doesnt feel like them, and it may not be your kind of game if thats what youre looking for.

The first gamemode youll play is Cashout, where your kills dont really matter, purely objective, first to 2 wins. Of couse youll kill to take and defend, but the only time kills matter in that game mode is if all 3 teams are tied at 1, then it comes down to overall score. Saw a review complaining how all the other team did was 'spam projectiles at the point so no one could take it'. Which is correct, even if that team wasnt, they arent going to simply let you have the objective lol. Maybe kill them idk. Which is why i think most reviews seem to be just a skill issue and they came to complain.

But dont worry, the other game modes kills do matter if that isnt your cup of tea, for instance in tournament mode if your team wipes you lose a bit of money. Ive gone from last to 1st many times by wiping out 1st place and then banking money of my own at the same time. And the other game mode (i forgot the name) is essentially kill confirmed, but then you have to also cashout the money youve collected. But for all of them please remember, this isnt really one of those games where you can just mindlessly kill until time runs out and win. Play smart, play as a team, play the objective, and youll be fine i promise.

In any case, if youre someone whos reading reviews before you decide if you want to try this and happen to read mine, the game is hella fun, i love it. And when youre reading the negative reviews just keep this in mind, are they complaining about movement or complaining about a skill issue? ignore those. and i hope you at least find some that give actual feedback lol
