This game crashes all the time. A game from 2008, all the time. I've tried running it in different compatibility modes, clearing graphics caches, and reinstalled the game. It didn't fix the issue, now I can't play the space stage. I don't think Steam should charge anything for this release until someone makes a patch for it.

This game gets a thumbs up because the campaign is super fun and makes the game worth it, I beat the campaign and loved it. If you are getting this game on PC for playing online, however, a big thumbs Down. The cheating is atrocious, I stopped playing this game half a year ago because of the cheating. They cheat while you're doing cargo missions for your clubs, they cheat when you are racing, they can place you inside a cage they spawn in mid air. There is a report feature, but I don't log on to play GTA so I can report 5 people per session.
So if you just want to play campaign, awesome, it's a good game. Online is unplayable for PC unless you just like to run around and do nothing, then maybe you'll like interacting with the multiple hackers.

Early Access Review
It's my fifth most played game. That being said, I would play the game more if they added select-able spawn zones and an in-game map that could be toggled or something. The map should not have to be Googled, it should be in game. Super easy addition, not asking for new dinosaur assets or animation overhalls, but I'm not pleased that the devs abandoned Legacy and won't at least add these things to make it feel like a complete game.

So I've put 195 hours into this game, really love what the game is supposed to be. I've also been getting pretty decent at PvP.

However, last night, my friend and I kept running into aimbotting and teleporting cheaters on multiple servers. Ruined the experience and don't know if I really want to invest anymore time into a game that can be exploited like this. There's also no way to play in a private session or just play PvE. Not that I would want to, but for a game that is only multiplayer, Rare needs to expand its budget to hire an anti-cheating division to add to the current dev team, there aren't enough devs to keep up with with the crippling cheating issues.

I might put the game down for a bit, but I have loved the vision behind this game, it has been really fun!

Addictingly fun. I think they should come out with either an era DLC or just add species when you could still hunt what are now protected, like elephants and tigers, but just put a disclaimer before the maps are loaded saying "Disclaimer: Some of these animals are protected in real life by blablabla and it is a crime to hunt endangered species"

Jurassic Park is my favorite movie, I got JPOG when it came out, and was overwhelmingly excited when this game arrived. Beautiful, but there are a couple recommendations that would make it much better.

First off, the ranger vehicles and team should be vulnerable to dinosaurs as well, especially (mainly) to the carnivores. Haven't seen many comments to impliment this, but this game would feel much more fun and like JP/JW if I needed to cross the Tyrannosaur paddock to fix something, but could be jump scared by an actually dangerous dinosaur that can destroy the vehicle and staff. Even if your guys make this a gameplay option to switch on or off, it would make the game more fun.

A second easy one would be more customization of skins, as well as film-to-game skin pattern packages from all the movies. Mods are attempting to fulfill this lack, but if it were professionally implimented into the game, that would be great.

This is less of a suggested patch idea, but a Jurassic Park DLC idea. Perhaps after beating the main campain, one is able to unlock architecture from the park in '93, such as the original JP gate, the Jeep and track ride, and the old aesthetics of the visitor center, breeding cage, things such as that. Perhaps even a campaign that takes you back to the making of the first park, and you have to use the technology of that time exclusively under Hammond's administration of the islands. But the first part of this idea alone might be easier to impliment and will greatly boost the games ratings.

Those are some alterations that I see as most possible and most beneficial, but there are some other changes that will help too.

The animations are beautiful, but how how they are implimented limit the AI of the dinosuars. Hunting is based on a syncronization, a carnivore walks I to a field, a herbivore lines up its tail to the carnivores, carnavote turns, and carries out the animation it was programmed to go. We know there is no hope for the herbivore far before it visually dies, there's no chance the carnavore might miscalculate, no stakes, no chaos. If the dinosaurs actually had to hunt and chase down thier prey, only attempting attack animations when the prey (failing to weave fast enough; or running out of stamina first) was within range of physical contact. Then the numbers of damage given would determine whether or not the prey could continue to flee or not (perhaps with big carnavores to little prey, it's just a 'you get it or don't'). An extra thing to impliment alone with this change would be hunting strategies (hiding in the forest to ambush, pack dynamics, etc.), but I know that would be an extra complicated task to create. The main problem is this: stamina based hunting and evasion does not exist within this game. The reason it's not my top complaint it's because I know it would require a complete overhaul of the game and its operation mechanics. But, they would seem more like realistic, unpredicatble animals and less like posing movie stars if this were changed.

Overall, I do like this game, but I voice these things because I know you guys still care enough about the game in your continuation of patching and dlc's.
