In the heat of the match, the stakes all aglow,
I stand on the precipice, feeling low.
Round after round, my aim's gone astray,
As the scoreboard taunts me, I’m lost in dismay.

My teammates are firing, a symphony of strife,
While I wander the map, questioning life.
A flashbang too early, a spray gone awry,
I chase after pixels, but they dance in the sky.

“Let’s go, let’s go!” the calls echo loud,
But I’m stuck in the shadows, beneath the proud crowd.
Each death a reminder of where I stand tall—
In the bottom frag prison, the weight of it all.

I clutch my rifle tight, hoping for fate,
One lucky headshot to counter my state.
But the bullets fly wild, and my hope starts to fade,
As I watch my teammates, in glory arrayed.

Yet within this struggle, a lesson rings true,
That even in failure, there’s growth to pursue.
For every misstep, each round lost to despair,
I learn from the ashes, a warrior laid bare.

So here’s to the bottom, where I often reside,
In the game of our lives, it’s the heart that’s the guide.
