Okay so im sad to see that this game is mixed. Before playing this game the last time I had played the classic games was on the Sonic Classic collection for Ds when i was about 4 or 5. Im not gonna count the mobile ports. I dont see the hate towards this game at all. I mean i see people with a lot of performance issues but i dont even have the best pc and it runs super smoothly. The anniversary mode makes the games look outstanding in full screen and although the gameplay feels different, momentum wise to me it feels smooth and im enjoying it a lot. It brings 4 classic games back remastered, with a crap ton of missions, a museum full of cutscenes and classic images. The new cutscenes are amazing and tie in the story of the classics very well. The new mirror mode also makes things a lot harder and interesting and that along with the missions make the game extremely replayable. Not to mention the easy steam achievements. My 3 complaints are the price, i think it should be ten dollars less. Next, the sonic 3 music changes. Man I miss those old tracks. Lastly, the controls are kind of annoying although you can change them your very limited to what you can change. But trust me if you really love sonic and this game as much as me youll get used to them. Itd be nice to see this game get DLC of some sort in the future and hey guys I think Sega is finally done remastering classics you know with sonic mania and now this game, so hopefully we can expect remasters for other games now. Im sure this game will have a sale during the winter sale so if you wanna wait till then probably a good idea. Overall 8.5/10.

idk if its just me but the pc version of this game is just so hard, its enjoyable but just rlly annoying espically for your first play through so until you get used to it just expect to have a "game over" screen a few times. The story is not actually that bad and not only is it funny but its a twist on any original sonic story. I havent run into any glitches and the game runs super smooth, only problem is like I mentioned is controls. You can disregard most of the things I said if you have a controller. This is coming from a sonic fan for almost 13 yrs (im 16 now). I have been told to stay away from this game and I can see why but after revisiting it Its definitely not the worst and if your bored or have the cash you should pick it up if you have never played it. It isnt worth the price. I would say its worth $15 at most. I give this game a 6.5/10.
