Had a blast playing co-op. I do miss the original unique weapon mods that made Dead Island. However attacking animations were satisfying and movement felt smooth. The card system was a great concept to me and made game play more interesting trying out these abilities. The game is generally gorgeous and creative map design and makes for fun exploring. The side quest system is also a huge step up from the original as each quest doesn't always feel like fetch quest. I do wish they explored a wider variety of weapons especially firearms. Other than that it was wicked fun.

multiplayer is community server based, always full, always 300+ ping. Great idea, good execution, not complete.
