Ready or Not? Not ready. Give it another 6 months in the oven. Lots of maps, maybe need some sort of progression, guns feel amazing, Ai will BEAM you so be cautious and use flashes. Gunfights are interactive because not every shot is a lethal shot. Guns feel like they need a better customization system (placing sights) and is built for sweats. Really fun game, but I covered all content in 6 hours.

Reskins mostly for the units. Yes its Ostfront but no not a good DLC for $18.00.

If you have looked at the 'season pass roadmap' you know this is a money grab. Weapons are only coming with maps which you must pay for either on the expensive pass or very expensive packs. Then they will do another season of taking cash. And another.

There have been zero details revealed about what is coming in the future so why would I make a blind investment?

Wait for heavy sales otherwise they are just pinching wallets of people who love the game.

Lately lag, my ping is usually around 50, has been teleporting players around and causing gameplay issues and is unplayable.

I played the original back in the day for a thousand or so hours on disk, it was light years ahead of it's time. This is one year ahead of that one. They scarcely updated the game at all and abandoned the game in less than a year. There hasn't been an update in 7, almost 8 months. Devs are mobile game developers, cheap devs-for-hire for CA who stabbed one of the oldest, but most passionate RTS communities, in the back.

Positive note: The updates they applied actually worked. They made path-finding better than before, added even higher sprite counts in a unit. That is it though. They responded to backlash about the game not working on win-7 recently which surprised me.

GUYS DONT BUY THIS POSITIVE REVIEW CRAP! A member of the team announced on the discussion tab that the team left to become mobile game developers. THIS PROJECT IS ABANDONED DONT BUY!

I know people are sad we don't have a campaign or a fully stylized map but remember this is a smaller studio taking a shot at a 40k game. The map will increase with size as more factions are added and lets be honest, they pumped out the necrons (and really well) in under 5 months! Quicker than a triple A company has pumped out content for Halo, Battlefield and TW: Warhammer 3! Hopefully we see orcs, imperial regiments and eldar, chaos and tao in the next few years! Next should be a mortal faction, so imperials or orcs then the immortals. (no pun intended) I just want more blood on the field! Keep adding maps and variety in races so we can feel that freedom we had in older RTS'!

Necrons are awesome and really give the feel of veterancy and superiority over lesser units with mass numbers (battle sisters) and they will absolutely wipe them off the screen with a gory mess left behind! The use of long range units is tricky as you will not be used to it at all since the tyranids and blood angels both love and favor close combats so be patient and play with the buffs that you shouldn't neglect! Use the stupid drones to scout. Use the Individual leaders! Scythe will wipe almost 2 units a turn! Primarch is a great frontline unit.
