not quite kovaaks but it's free so can't complain

I first picked up Destiny 2 when it was free on PS Plus in August of 2018. I played the hell out of the 4 campaigns and got genuinely hooked on the game in the year leading up to Shadowkeep. I have so many great memories of this Sisyphean bastard game, so undoubtedly a lot of this is nostalgia fueled. There's so much to love about it. No gunplay feels quite as good as Destiny's, no PvP as good of a dynamic fusion of gunfights and abilities. No community is quite as great as the community around this game (if you can find the right people). But ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ does it feel bad to be a Destiny fan. Every couple months some new thing happens and everyone thinks it's the last straw. If you can find some friends, or a clan to play with this game is wonderful. Raiding is so so good. But D2 is a hell of a time sink and a hell of an emotional rollercoaster. Be wary buying DLC. It's rarely worth what you're paying nowadays. Though a lot of it's good, so wait for sales.

TLDR game good but with a lot of caveats

Solid Game, a bit of a grind from what I've played so far, but really good fun and easy to get into.
