the 25th anniversary update is cool and all, but we still dont have half life decay and alien mode and extended hazard course intro and a buncha other things thatd help make this the ultimate OG half life experience, also i want CS deleted scenes back thank you valve

As an avid fan and long time player of SKY9's flash games i must say that this has not made a good impression, ive had to refund the game before it was even released.

Ill say it straight, the game is painfully undercooked, if you studied the game's development you could very clearly tell it was rushed, the gameplay has been turned more arcadey and mediocre compared to the original, the game has received ret cons and unfortunately it has inherited the unsightly cartoony graphics of SFH3 which was reasonably hated by everyone who played it, and it also received a crappy family friendly goofy saturnight cartoon humour i.e the repeatable THE FAT GUY EATS BURGERS AND HES FAT!! childrens humour instead of the serious overtone we had in the flash games, which we held dear onto, making the game effectively lose its charm that it had in the originals. the optimization isnt great, the levels feel sluggish to get through and matches tend to feel very unbalanced, especially the bosses which are crude and the levels need an unreasonable amount of effort to 3 star, the multiplayer, although seeming like a fun and cool idea is very chaotic and barely functioning in practice. the game become significantly more grindy compared to its predecessor and it also got a half-assed version of the gambling system from the original SFH2 that isnt very pleasing to play, because the guns now rely on things like rarity and the like which completely doesnt stick to the structure of the game, whats even worse is the skins they put into this thing, its like COD skins but worse, barely nothing that seems remotely cool or like it would fit the narrative proper and it doesnt pair well with the crappy SFH3 arstyle, better yet, the developers allowed fetishists to put their fetish OCs into the game for a measly 250 to 275 canadian dollars, and now theres like 10 of them in the game, the game has attracted a pretty big fanbase consisting of kids, and this is just not appropriate for that kind of age demographic, but then again it doesnt seem like they seem to mind with all the sexual humour and the porno the game's preddit-originating creep and ignorant community so enjoys to present and throw around and not care about the actual game, as you would judge by the fact that they stray away so much from the game at hand into something else such as talking about porno art or whatever else comes by, no one is there to critique the game's countless flaws which overshadows its merits, this isnt a faithful remake of the original flashgames that youve been anticipating, its like a chinese knockoff that gives the game a zany stupid slow burning caroony humour sacrificing the proper cool serious overtone that was so enjoyed in the OGs, go play the original games and see how the dev's gullibility has lead to your dissapointment on this project, save yourself some money. this is a scarring let-down thats trying to imitate the glory of its predecessors, thinly veiled as a cheap nostalgia trip, if the game was a part of your childhood then it is no excuse to have it shattered by this poor attempt at reproducing its former glory. addison better think over the raze remasters before hes going to have an embarassement tied to his name.

in short, bullet sponge'y enemies, horrible weapons, bad balance, largely unfun challenges, crude bosses, horrible optimization, stellar price for whats effecitvely a buggy demake of a flashgame, badly implemented multiplayer, bad visuals that were derived from SFH3 which the community collectively hated, a serious and cool overtone that carried the games narrative has been sacrificed for a cheesy and childish zany repeatable humour, the community is unbearably bad consisting of kids and the fetishistic people from reddit that love to prey on them, gullible and ignorant developers whose old habits did not die hard, a plethora of other issues that i cant be bothered to list down because ive spent enough time giving this game more attention than it deserves. play the originals, theyre free and objectively better.

Another phenomenal entry in the series, this time bigger, bagger and better all the way, combining together some of the old game mechanics and content into one! i cannot put into words how nice and kind the developer is, hes been hammering at the series for around 20 years now and its still going strong! much recommend, this one feels a little goofy when it comes to the artstyle but it doesnt bother much as the game still provides solid entertainment, and the addition of multiplayer is sraight up awesome!

Grand Theft Auto 4 is a phenomenal game, it cant be put to words how good it is, but the steam PC port has ♥♥♥♥♥♥ it up royally, the removal of multiplayer is just something that i cannot forgive, multiplayer added so much to the game, it had phenomenal missions that tied in with the story and fun activities and mechanics, it had unique vehicles that were exclusive to multiplayer, like the police motorbike and the police stinger car, these were not fluctuated back in vanilla, and many other features, multiplayer was even compatible with the DLCs which added a ton more fun, but in this version of the game they removed it in its entirety, anything remotely related and exclusive to multiplayer has been axed completely and its gone, and they refused to fluctuate some of the exclusive content into vanilla, making it completely lost to time, this is just straight up unacceptable, if you want to properly experience this game in its entirety then get it on one of the old gen consoles, its worth to experience some of these missions and activities and play with your friends.
i still cannot believe they would do this, they say they had no choice and its beacuse of windows games live, but to me it seems like a whole load of bull, it mightaswell have been beacuse if they readded multiplayer to PC then it would axe atleast a quarter of their GTA online playerbase, if they would truly care then they would make an effort into bringing it back, especially if its such a large scale feature, hell, maybe they would do it, rockstar stated that they would heavily consider re-mastering/re-making GTA 4 and Red Dead Redemption if the Definitive edition Trilogy of the older games would do well.
Tough sh♥t. i bet they would just make it worse and get rid of RDR's multiplayer lol.
