This game feels amazing to play. The gunplay feels great. Kills feel satisfying when it freezes for just a moment. The soundtrack is another great one from rj lake. Please, just buy this game. You won't regret it.

Easiest game I can recommend for $20. The gameplay is satisfying and the narrative and phenomenal voice acting had me hooked in just minutes.

the game is just okay

This game is a must-have if you're a long time RE fan or a newcomer. The atmosphere is a bit darker but still remains faithful to the original with Leon's cheesy one-liners. The gameplay is fun and easy to understand. I will admit that this game on normal difficulty is just kicking me around at times but the challenge is fun and adds further tension to the experience. I would highly recommend this for everyone into the RE series. I've played the original at least 20 times on at least 4 different platforms and it's worth it every time. The same goes for this one too.The game runs incredibly well on day 1 and looks amazing. I am able to stay above 100+ FPS easily on my rig at 1440p max settings(though it does use around 11-12 GB of VRAM at that level). I am running a i7 12700K, RTX 3090, and 32 GB DDR4 for reference. Though this game runs well on other hardware such as the Steam Deck if you want to take it on the go.
