It is free so...not recommending a game that is free seems weird. Maybe (Steam) should consider a alternative rating method. Because this game seems like it would be fun. A nice complex blend of action, fighting, chess-like game. Maybe I just did not give it enough time. I am sure there are people who would enjoy this game and it seems like many do. I personally can not recommend it though because it just seems clunky. I never quite seemed to be able to inflict any real damage as you see in the video. But again...recommended because it is free...but not recommended because it is not my thing.

The selling point of this game is Minecraft, Terraria, Runescape...all molded into one. The same can be argued with why this game is not that enjoyable. It is a jack-of-all-trades (if even that) and a master of none.

I grabbed this for its $0.99 cost. That and along with the increasing popularity of the "poly" style games, I had hopes this would have at least been entertaining. I get the satire here, but honestly, long load times, poor AI design (if any) and empty game lobbies make what could be a cheap easy, tongue-in-cheek, shooter...into...well...nothing.

Offering a standard idle-game foundation, you can come and go with a rewarding sense of progression. There exists a surprisingly deep RPG element to this game and if you are not careful you could delve into an hour long quest/story progression fest. The quirky characters bring subtle laughter as the quests provide continuous progression through a unique story line that is interwoven into a simple yet useful crafting system. The blend of idle and RPG/Adventure works so well that there is a sense of accomplishment that exists in playing the game actively as well as taking a break from it for a while and coming back to massive AFK rewards. (As well as the steady updates).
It really does beg the question, that if this quality of a game can be put out by a single individual with minimum budget, what is the excuse for bigger companies?
