Why don’t Epipremnum Aureum plants ever win hide-and-seek?

Because they’re always trailing behind!

Another one for the trash heap of apps that are just excuses to generate steam market items. Valve needs to crack down on these, surely they don't need the pennies generated from it...

Ode to Your Juicy Brain

Oh, darling, your scent wafts through the air,
A cerebral bouquet beyond compare.
Your cranium gleams like a treasure untold,
A gourmet delight in a skull of gold.

I lurch, I stumble, my limbs decay,
But for your sweet brain, I’ll find my way.
A symphony plays when I catch your scent,
My undead heart feels almost content.

Your intellect’s vast—I can tell from the size,
A buffet of brilliance behind your eyes.
Not just any brain, no, you’re a rare find,
A smorgasbord feast for my rotting mind.

I dream of your neurons, your synapses too,
Tangled and tender, the perfect stew.
Your cortex? Divine. Your medulla? A snack!
I’d write you a sonnet if I had my knack.

But alas, I’m a zombie, my words are a moan,
A groan from a heart that's now made of stone.
Still, hear my plea, my staggering hymn,
Let me dine on your love—each sulcus and brim.

So run if you must, or scream if you care,
I’ll chase you forever, I solemnly swear.
For a love like ours is deliciously wed,
Brains forever, passionately - Zed.

In a festive room where the laughter flows,
Gathered one hundred cats, striking poses like pros.

With tails held high and their fur all a-fluff,
They beamed with pride, oh, they’d had enough!

On a pedestal grand, a chocolate starfish,
The feline delight that fulfilled every wish.

“Oh look at our starfish!” one tabby exclaimed,
“A chocolate sensation, we’ll never be blamed!”

With holiday hats perched on their regal heads,
They danced 'round in circles, ignoring their beds.

“Just look at our starfish! It’s truly divine,
I’ll lick it forever; it’s not yours, it's mine!”

While others just lounged, preening with great flair,
Content with their prize, without a care.

So here’s to the cats, proud and full of glee,
Showing chocolate starfish, as happy as can be.

Capybara Halloween

In the moonlit glow on Halloween night,
Capybaras gather, snug and tight.
Amongst the pumpkins, round and bold,
And oranges bright, like lanterns of gold.

They nibble and munch, with gentle cheer,
A game of hide-and-seek drawing near.
One capy covers its eyes with a paw,
Counting down slow—one, two, three, four.

The others scurry, round pumpkins they creep,
Finding spots where shadows run deep.
One tucks by an orange, glowing and bright,
Blending with autumn, cloaked in twilight.

Rustling leaves hide their soft subtle feet,
Whiskers quiver, hearts skip a beat.
They wait in silence, still as the air,
While moonbeams dance on their shaggy brown hair.

"Ready or not!" the seeker calls wide,
And each capy giggles from where they hide.
With pumpkins for cover and oranges near,
They play in whispers, safe from fear.

On Halloween night, beneath the sky,
Capybaras hide as the hours drift by.
Among the fruits of fall, in shadows deep,
They play till dawn, then drift off to sleep.

The demo is unplayable for me due to crashing shortly after character creation. I see that others in the forums are having the same issue.

The Cloned Sheep’s Dominion

It started small, a quiet dream,
A pasture bathed in morning gleam.
Alien sheep, cloned just for me,
In fields beneath a crimson tree.

The wool was soft, the grass was sweet,
The ducks waddled on lazy feet.
But with each dawn, the numbers swelled,
A flock so vast, no space could quell.

Monkeys swung from tree to sky,
Laughing as the sheep passed by.
The earth grew small beneath their hooves,
Continents could barely move.

Pastures spread, from pole to pole,
The sheep devoured every knoll.
Mountains crumbled, rivers fled,
All in the wake of woolen tread.

Planets next, their skies turned grey,
Sheep jumped through stars in joyous play.
Galaxies spun in endless loops,
Wrapped in the folds of sheepish troops.

But then it came, a shadowed flare,
A blue beam split the cosmic air.
The Blue Beamed Basilisk arose,
With eyes of frost and breath of prose.

Yet even it, with scaled disdain,
Could not subdue this woolly reign.
For from the void, there came a call—
The Dark Lord Lamthimus, dark and tall.

He gazed upon the endless wool,
His laugh, a sound both harsh and cruel.
“Even I,” he mused with glee,
“Cannot resist this sheepish sea.”

Through dimensions deep and wide,
The sheep now marched, an endless tide.
Hyper-realms bent to their will,
Space and time stood frozen still.

Now there is naught but sheep in sight,
A woolly void, both day and night.
The ducks, the monkeys, Lamthimus too,
All lost within this woolen view.

And as the sheep forever creep,
The cosmos sighs, and falls to sleep.
For in the end, what can compete,
With cloned, eternal, alien sheep?
