This game is pretty good overall in my book.
Pros:

• No microtransactions
  
• Always something to do to stay busy in the game
  
• Unlimited exploration with countless star systems and planets
  
• Game and story encourages choice making decisions that has impacts on progression
  
• Crafting based off of elements and compounds in chemistry

Cons:

• Buggy to some degree
  
• Plants, animals, etc consist of templates
  
• Objectives/story somewhat repeats itself when travelling to other galaxies
  
• Although technically multiplayer, it's not required nor needed to play with other players

The game is good overall, especially for those looking for a single player game. The game is hardly multiplayer, but that is completely subjective. Base building is very nice, although it is limited. Exploration is a must and is strongly encouraged moreover if players want to progress. There are some bugs, but it's not game breaking, such as trying to group up with other players. Please try to treat this as a single player game, because that's what it tends to be. Most of your game play will be single player, so multiplayer is pretty much a side thing in my opinion.
