I got this game about a year and a half ago, and it has quickly grown to become one of the best games I have ever played. It does take some getting used to for new players, but once you get the hang of the mechanics and how they work, the game becomes quite enjoyable. If you want a long game experience, set the map to larger sizes and be prepared to play for several hours. I know the dlc's seem pretty expensive; but trust me, they are truly worth the cost.
