The fact that you only need to pull just one copy and there's no major power spike from dupes alone makes this one of if not the most generous gacha game in existence. There's also a free 100 pulls event and a lot of other stuffs going on for steam launch as well.

Artstyle 10/10
CS probably has the best non-chibi sprite based ingame animations I've ever seen. Also because they are 2D, the game runs smooth even in toasters, at the same time looking beautiful.

Gameplay 8/10
It's Clash Royale but sideways. Arknights but tower offense instead. Love the team building synergies and difficulty in endgame.

Story 9/10
If you dont like reading VNs, there's also a skip button and you can easily watch them again if you feel like it from the collection.

Competitive 7/10
Ofc even with all these f2p friendliness, whales and leviathans still reign over top spots. There are some day1 f2p players up there as well but you have to be hardcore for that.

Tldr, if you like gacha, anime, free to play, hot waifus and good gameplay and great amount of content or looking for a side game to kill your time in general, Counterside is definitely worth it.

Bought the game because I believe this will be amazing like 20XX and genuinely wanted to support the devs even tho it's just early access. Please make this game better than ever!

It's a Bomber Man BR i've always wanted. Content is a bit lacking as of now but since it's just in Early Access state, hope the game will improve overtime. It's fun.

Pros: It's a loveletter to all the Captain Tsubasa fans out there. The gameplay is fun and has very high replayability and a ton of things to do. Remember this is not a football simulator like fifa or pes, it's an arcade with legit bloodpumping gameplay so don't expect hundreds of teams.

Cons: PC version has a lot of issues including performance and network error rn but they just announced the patch is coming and it's only day 1 so i'll give it a chance.

ALSO: THAT NEGATIVE REVIEW ABOUT THE GAME HAVING CHARACTER PACKS IS TOTAL MISINFORMATION.
You need to complete the story mode first to unlock all national teams and characters. Packs are just for grinding special skills for your custom character.

Out of all this playtime 8 hrs, I played like only 3 matches. No game at all last night. Game is dead bruh. If you are in sea region, don't bother.
