Okay! ive been waiting to get this game for over 5 years...
now i will tell you what ive been waiting for, for so long.
awsome combat sounds. a game that adds the stryker. a game that has u.s.army in it and also the A-10. a game you can command units. you know what you really what out of a military game. plus realistic combat damage. and plus a moon light effect i didint know.
so i started the game in campaign first. most awsome story line its not personal it sounds like real busniss so the game dont start about a soldiers personal life it talks about the war conflict. and the reasoning.
the game combat was so fun realistic. everyone dropping like flys. pops and cracks. you would think someone had aluminum in the microwave. so many tracers at night i check the title of the game and thought it was STARWARS.
there is so much that i was looking for in a game this had it.

now the down side that pissed me off that no one told me. in the campaign. somtimes they will start you with a radio on some missions and it will dissapear and the mission cant be completed. this pissed me off. but just because i cant play the campaign dont mean i waisted my money. mission editor is a boss. you can do what ever you want. controll lots of squads tanks attack helecopters jets all at the hand of one soldier. i have no idea how to make an offical mission so i just spawn and attack misson editor is complicated and there is no manual... i think but you can command airstrikes ground strikes by spawning soldiers. dont spawn in veichles. spawn all units in order on ground from you the team leader to the squad leader to the grunts to the apc's to the tanks to the helecopters to the jets. spawn in that order and you wont have a weird column. or misssing segmented column and it will make neat rank line to controle unites on F1 to F10



so the compaign dont work but the misson editor is just fine.
P.S. dont get arma 2 until you get the gold edition you will be happy befor you run to the extra equipment on arma 2

arma2 is more geeky then the first one always easy getting used to. just get the first one the second one will upset you and make you want to give it to your 10 year old brother if you have one. i mean there fun better then other military games just prepair for what no one is telling you about this popular game
id buy the second arma again if i need to. its just like my DAD said there is nothing better then the first.

plus you can give more commands on the first.
